*EXODUS 3:1-5, Acts 7:33;

"Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is Holy Ground".

Introduction;

The text that God has chosen for us today has to do with moving into a new level in our Spiritual life.

I.If you remember the whole story about Moses;

·        It took him a long time to get to this place where he could hear the audible voice of God ?How many want to get to that place where you can hear God clearly.

·        This is the place called Holy ground!!!, It takes sacrifice, it takes determination, it takes time alone with only God and you!!! THINK ABOUT IT, IT TOOK MOSES EIGHTY YEARS TO GET TO HIS BURNING BUSH EXPERIENCE,

·        It took him eighty years to get to Holy Ground, to that level where He could hear God clearly calling him out.

·        Forty years in pharaohs courts(a type of the world) where all the pleasures of the world were available to him, he was certainly in no position to hear God clearly.

·        Forty years in the dessert(a place of uncertainty, a lonely place but nevertheless a place where he had time to reflect on his life.

·        Just when he probably thought that it was all over, he had lost his favor with pharaoh, all of his possetions in Egypt, his favor with the Egyptians. Sometimes God will separate us from the things that keep us from relying on Him.

We all need to have a burning bush experience such as the one that Moses had where we all of the sudden may realize that we are standing in the presence of God Almighty Himself.

II.On Holy Ground where God is present.

·        How do I get to the promise?, how can I experience God's blessings, how do I know that God is with me? We need to get to Holy ground where God makes Himself Known.

·        Holy Ground is; Where our conquering starts when you are determined!!!, Where we are ready to receive instruction.

·        Holy ground is where we ask God about our uncertainties. And God will give us what we need to get the job done right.( He gave Moses his brother Aaron and gave him a rod). Read *Ex.4:1-5

·        Holy Ground is where we ware given the power to carry out the task.

·        Every person that God sends is empowered by Him. It's where your conquering starts.

Closing;

     Holy ground is where we move up to the plate and accept the challenge before you;

·        If I was to ask each one of you individually if God has asked you to do a specific something there is no doubt that Most would say yes.

·        Many know that God has called them to do something but they have not yet moved up to the plate.

·        You are still wondering about what to pursue. If you are going to get direction from God, this is a great place to start. In the church, Gods house.

Everything here is dedicated to God;

• The pulpit,


• the instruments are God's,


•  the pews,


• the banners talk about the greatness of God.


• everything here proclaims that you are on Holy Ground!!!,


• This is Gods throne room!!!, God is here!!!,


• This is where we dedicate our babies to the Lord. You are standing on Holy Ground. This is where we come every week to hear God speak.
